Tang is the owner of our factory. At age 35, he took over this leather goods factory of 60 people from his grandfather and has been running it for 20 years. However, Tang hasn’t been in a rush to expand. In leather goods, products made from vegetable-tanned leather require high standards. The craftsmanship is complex, and they usually need a lot of handwork, not just machine production. High-end vegetable-tanned leather products challenge the technical skills of factory workers. The color of vegetable-tanned leather is hard to control, and with hand coloring, each piece becomes unique.
